Our Services:

I provide in-home speech therapy for children from birth through age 21, supporting a wide range of communication needs including understanding and using language, social communication, speech sound development, stuttering, feeding challenges, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). My approach is play-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and tailored to your child’s unique strengths. I believe therapy should feel warm, engaging, and meaningful — not stressful. Parent coaching is naturally woven into sessions so you feel confident supporting your child’s growth at home. Comprehensive evaluations are available, and services are currently private pay, with plans to accept insurance in the future.

If you are concerned about your child’s articulation or fluency:

Your child may benefit from speech therapy if they:

  • Have trouble saying certain sounds clearly (for example: r, s, l, th).

  • Are difficult for others to understand compared to children their age.

  • Repeat sounds, syllables, or words when speaking (stuttering).

  • Get “stuck” on words or stretch sounds out when trying to talk.

  • Avoid talking or seem frustrated when trying to speak.

  • Speak much faster or slower than expected, making it hard to understand them.

If you’re unsure whether your child’s speech is typical for their age, a speech-language evaluation can help determine if support would be beneficial.

Does my Child need Speech Therapy?

If you are concerned about your child’s language development or social skills:

Your child may benefit from speech therapy if they:

  • Have difficulty understanding directions or questions.

  • Do not seem to understand words or concepts expected for their age.

  • Use fewer words than other children their age or have trouble putting words together into phrases or sentences.

  • Have difficulty asking for things, answering questions, or telling about their day.

  • Struggle to take turns in conversation or stay on topic.

  • Have difficulty using language appropriately with others (for example: greeting, requesting, or responding to peers and adults).

  • Seem frustrated when trying to communicate their wants, needs, or ideas.

If you have concerns about your child’s communication, a speech-language evaluation can help determine if support would be beneficial.

If you are concerned about your child’s feeding or swallowing skills:

Your child may benefit from speech therapy if they:

  • Are very selective with foods or eat a very limited variety.

  • Refuse entire food groups or become upset when new foods are offered.

  • Have difficulty chewing, swallowing, or managing certain textures.

  • Frequently gag, cough, or choke during meals.

  • Take a very long time to finish meals.

  • Have difficulty transitioning to new textures (such as purees to solids).

  • Experience stress, frustration, or power struggles around mealtimes.

A feeding evaluation can help identify the underlying challenges and create a supportive plan to help your child build safe and positive eating skills.
